The Team have also been involved and continue to be involved in handling banking disputes and litigation. In this regard, ZISTHLP acts primarily for banking institutions. A notable case handled previously by the Team is a matter in which the client was Deutsche Bank, and the dispute involved a substantial claim by another bank. The Team have also acted for Bank Bumiputra Commerce Bhd in a number of corporate recovery cases.

ZISTHLP also acted as counsel for an established firm of solicitors in a number of recovery cases taken on behalf of financial institutions notably Maybank Bhd, AmBank Bhd and MBSB.
